MY BACKGROUND
Hello, I am Lim Jing Hua, a graduate from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education. Passionate about early education, particularly special education, I believe that all children should all get a chance to learn despite their circumstances.
As a student in this diploma, I have gone through 2 attachments and 1 internship at PCF, Eshkol Valley and Skool4Kidz. These experiences has allowed me to gain insights on how to implement and provide useful lessons and resources for the children. I have also gained knowledge in working with people from different walks of life, and improving in my communication skills.
Through my education and experiences, I have learnt about different teaching strategies, classroom management, as well as communicating with children, teachers and even parents.

Student Internship Programme @ Skool4kidz
Through this 22 weeks internship programme, I have learnt many different ways of classroom management and engagement. Here, I have also learnt many different teaching styles from all the teachers and the support that are provided for those with developmental needs.
Practicum @ Eshkol Valley
Through this 5 weeks practicum, I got my first hand experience on planning and executing lessons for small groups of children, and lead full classes on outdoor activities and simple classroom activities.
Part-time Supervisor @ Buddy Hoagies Cafe & Grill
While working here part time, I've picked up skills such as communication and teamwork to work with my colleagues. I've also picked up simple management skills to assist in operational needs.
